The Baharestan Modern Villa in Olvikela, near Royan, exemplifies the refinement of a pre-designed architectural concept. Phase 0 and Phase 1 were developed by Shema Studio, and after the structural frame was completed, DASH Architects took over Phase 2 design, interior design, construction documentation, and site supervision, based on the received structural as-built drawings. The main challenge was to elevate the original concept into a precise, buildable product while preserving its minimalist character. DASH focused on technical detailing, optimizing MEP routes, full interdisciplinary coordination (Architecture–Structure–MEP), and improving spatial efficiency within the constraints of the existing structure. The interior design followed a warm minimalist approach: removing visual clutter, using natural stone, light woods, and neutral tones, complemented by a double-height living area, floating staircase, and refined linear lighting—resulting in a calm, cohesive spatial atmosphere. The arrangement of living areas, kitchen, and terraces emphasizes continuity and spatial clarity.

This project demonstrates DASH Architects’ role as a refiner and technical integrator of an initial concept, ensuring that coordinated engineering, precise detailing, and cohesive interior design preserve and strengthen the minimalist architectural vision through execution.
