The Villa No. 5 in Lavasan is located on a sloped 1,500 m² site in the northern hills of Tehran, where local regulations strictly limit the buildable area to only 462 m². This constraint became the conceptual driver of the design — transforming a regulatory limitation into an opportunity for spatial innovation. Through the horizontal sliding and overlapping of volumes, the architecture achieves expanded open terraces, dynamic spatial connections, and an elevated perception of scale beyond the permitted footprint.

The interlocking forms create a seamless flow between indoor, semi-outdoor, and open spaces, dissolving physical boundaries and integrating architecture with landscape. The stepped terraces extend toward the south-eastern view, where the villa opens fully to the natural scenery, capturing sunlight and framing panoramic vistas of the valley.

Natural light, reflection from the infinity pool, and transparent surfaces articulate a calm and fluid spatial rhythm. Material honesty defines the project: exposed concrete, glass, and natural wood are used to convey a sense of modern clarity, precision, and balance between structure and serenity.
