The Villa No. 4 KiaKola project occupies a 500 m² plot with a total built area of 250 m². Having previously designed three villas in the same residential complex, DASH Architects entered this project with a deep understanding of the site, its micro-context, and the behavioral patterns of its residents. The design goal was to create a calm, cohesive dwelling while preserving privacy within a plot surrounded by neighboring buildings on the east and north and a public access road to the south.

The site strategy was developed around controlling views and light. A vertical enclosure, eight meters high, was introduced around the outdoor pool to ensure visual privacy while defining a semi-private courtyard. The placement of the pool adjacent to the living area blurred the line between interior and exterior, enhancing spatial continuity and the sense of openness.

The villa’s architectural language is defined by pure volumes and precise lines, emphasizing minimalism and structural clarity. Large openings face the southern view of the Alborz mountains, allowing natural light and scenery to shape the spatial experience. Neutral and refined materials contrast with the lush surroundings, evoking balance and serenity.

Ultimately, Villa No. 4 KiaKala represents a contemporary interpretation of northern Iranian residential life—where function, tranquility, and spatial clarity converge within a disciplined minimal order.
