The Golpad Apartment project, located in the Fereshteh district of Tehran, represents a complete interior redesign of a residential unit within a building constructed in the early 1990s. The client’s request was to reimagine the apartment into a cohesive, modern space—one that combines simplicity, technical precision, and functional clarity in line with contemporary living standards.

In this project, DASH Architects was responsible for the interior design, architectural Phases I and II, MEP design, and construction management. The main challenge was replacing the outdated building services within the constraints of the original structure. The design team achieved this through a comprehensive reconfiguration of ducts and service routes, ensuring maximum technical efficiency with minimal structural intervention.

The design language follows the principles of functional minimalism—eliminating excess to create spatial calm while emphasizing light, materials, and precise detailing. Natural finishes such as wood and stone, paired with soft neutral tones, establish a warm, refined, and timeless atmosphere that harmonizes with the geometry and daylight of the space.

The Golpad Apartment exemplifies DASH Architects’ approach to residential renovation: merging contemporary design, engineering precision, and meticulous supervision to revive the architectural and experiential quality of aging urban dwellings.
